Skooh

Skooh stands for hooks because of the way it works, what it does, is set hooks in Windows environnement to catch event like Maximize, Mouse move, and Keyboard input.

I started developping this to be able to maximize window in remote desktop when spanning over multiple monitor. The problem is that when you span over multiple monitors, all monitors are considered as one, so you'll have a wide taskbar, and maximized window will be over that monitor. What this software do is to limit maximized window to section of the screen and will do more in some time.

Fourth release: Ok, I lied, no GUI, but I made a few update so I think it's a good idea to make a release.

Known Bugs:

• If you maximize a window, move it, minimize it, it will maximize back to it's first position, it's easy to solve, but I wanted to do a release.

Searching Solutions:

• I actually search a way to remove the border of the window to maximize it like Windows, but the only good solution I found is to use SetWindowRgn, but when I set a region like explained in the documentation, the window lose it's theme if this is the Windows one.

Second release wich work far better for the windows management, and once the known bugs of this version are solved, there will be a GUI added

• When you minimize a maximized window, it will be maximized at coordinate (0,0)

Skooh :: Release V0.1

This is my first release of an application I've made for myself. I distribut it for free for personnal use, and I ask 10$ per station or server for commercial use, with free update. The price will increase as new feature is added, but if you have already paid, you don't have to pay again.

This application manage maximized window and taskbar for Remote Desktop when you span over multiple screen.

At the moment, it manage maximize, some problem with state of the window when restored.

Future release will have:

• Taskbar management
• No window creation between 2 screens
• Manage different screen resolution for Remote Desktop
• Virtual Desktop

This is actually the goal that I have for this application.
